AIDALARM Disabled toilet alarm controller - battery powered Ref: A600B

The A600B is a battery powered disabled toilet alarm. It use 6 x AA longlife AA batteries. This unit requires either an S1600 ceiling mounted pull cord or an S1705 wall mounted call button. Additionally a S1708 reset button must also be fitted to enable the system to be reset at or near the point of call. An S1778 overdoor light /buzzer can be added to give warning in the immediate vicinity.

The A600B is ideal for installation by any competent handyman. In addition to meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 the A600B does not cause any installation conflicts with the Part P Building Regulations that came into force on 1st January 2005. Being powered by batteries there are no inspection requirements vis-à-vis electrical equipment in areas where water may be present.

The A600L is a mains (230/240VAC) or 12vdc powered disabled toilet alarm. This unit requires either an S1600 ceiling mounted pull cord or a S1705 wall mounted call button. Additionally a S1708 reset button must be fitted to enable the system to be reset at or near the point of calling. An S1778 overdoor light /buzzer can be added to give warning in the immediate vicinity.

The A600L is also fitted with a volt free relay output for connection to a MULTIGUARD indicator (egMG212100) or a buliding management system.

Flush mount AIDALARM with stainless steel facia and galvanised steel mounting box.
Integral power on LED, plus alarm LED and piezo sounder for local audible and visual warning. The control panel button can be configured to function as Silence, Reset or be disabled.

Requires a separate 12vdc PSU with battery backup, minimum of 250mA (See PSU-12/1A5B). Requires either an S1600 Pull Cord or S1605S Call button plus a S1608S Reset button.

This unit has voltage free SPCO contacts. The LED incorporates a current limit resistor for use on 12vdc.
The cord is 2.5metres long. However, it is considered against best practise to install a pull cord into a mental health unit due to the risk it poses. Call buttons in the toilet or Panic strip is recommended.

This is a replacement cord set for the S1600 above, it is identical to the cord supplied with the S1600.

SaniPull Anti Ligature Hygenic Pull cord - Orange Ref: S1600ALCORD

Sanipull is a hygenic true anti-ligature replacement cord set suitable for virtually any pull cord.
The smooth finished cord can be easily wiped clean. The cord has holes in it at regular intervals which allow the cord to snap into small pieces if more than 13KG force is applied.

3m cord provided with universal fitting compatible with most pull cord switches and two bangles.

A wall mounting Press to Reset button with Braille text plus 2 yellow LEDs and a buzzer for caller reassurance. Enclosed in white ABS plastic, complete with a single gang surface mounting box. Flush fitting is also possible with a standard single gang back box. This is a non-latching unit with N.O. contacts specifically designed for use with our Aidalarm Disabled Toilet Alarm systems. The LEDs and a buzzer have separate terminals. The LED current limit resistor is provided for 12 vdc operation. The button contacts are rated at 50ma 24vdc resistive, N.O. press to close.
