12vdc Exitguard for use with Pyronix intruder panels

Designed specifically for use with intruder alarm systems using 2k2/4k7 door contacts, such as Pyronix, the Exitguard EX125iS-HX is the ideal solution for all types of door security issues. Suited to harsh environments particularly where physical damage may occur. Any alarm or fault is communicated to the main intruder alarm system using a fully supervised loop circuit.
An auto sounder reduction feature is incorporated to attenuate the sounder after a preset period to reduce the annoyance caused if the key holder is not immediately available. However, the sounder will restart if the door is opened again.
The Bleep In Off (BIO) function can be enabled to provide a local audible and visual indication when the Exitguard is turned off. This reduces the likelihood of the Exitguard being left turned off. Selectable resistors on the alarm circuits allow for compatibility with key intruder panel manufacturers’ systems.

EX125iS-HX is pictured above showing how a postal trolley in a narrow corridor completely misses the Exitguard box. The keyswitch on the EX125iS-HX is situated at the top of the stainless steel box and the chamfered edges deflect the trolley as it passes by. This would also be typical of cages used in supermarkets to move goods from storage areas to the shelf.
